DOGS: Whether your dog is BIG or small, old or young, even dogs with special needs, my mission is to find the perfect host which will meet your dog’s requirements.

LEADS: Your dog would be kept on the lead – unless otherwise advised.

HOSTS: All host families have been thoroughly interviewed, and carefully selected to be a HAPPY HOUNDS host.  All hosts are previous dog owners, who miss the companionship of a four legged friend. Therefore, they are familiar to dogs and their different characters.  Only one dog permitted per host, unless from the same family.

WALKS: Happy Hound hosts live in and around the Purbecks, therefore, able to give your dog good walks over Corfe Common, on the Beach at Studland or Swanage, in Wareham woods, or up to Dancing Ledge are but a few of the walks.  Only for the fit and able dogs. Less able dogs would be taken on much gentler walks.

INSURANCE: Happy Hounds has insurance however, we do advise your dog to be insured.

DOG TAG: Your dog will be wearing a Happy Hounds tag whilst they stay with a host.
